Documenting the movement, documenting the way it goes gives me a chance to see the moments of interaction, of relationship, gesture, and action within time. It’s so cool! And so many interesting synchronicities.
Today I came across an unusual two-pointed leaf that had a layer of what looked like the bones of a dead butterfly transposed onto it. How lucky!
Transposing and overlaying, leaving remnants, and thoughts on palimpsest always excite me. Imperfection (as if perfection, like oblivion, was a real concept living beings could envelop), the strangeness of the uncertainty, held together with flimsy tacky glue, make for quite the sight, and quite the crescendo!!!!
Today my thoughts finally became clearer, and I’m grateful for words and lanuage. For structure and amorphous grids to flexibly hold the disparate objects, the remnants, the notes. I feel I can experience each of them one at a time and also in unison, in awareness and appreciation.
